Character based of the Istaria dragon by the same name with a more in depth backstory and character.
Physical Appearance[]
Dragon Feral Form (Quad):
Large full Ancient size draconic body without the regular aging marks due to his imortal nature, with dark grey/black scales with no chest plate pattern. His body is covered in carvings between his scales, similar as if they were burned off with acid in which flow red marks (almost like veins) with a glowing blood-red color. These markings have a starting point from the center of his chest where a large slit like flesh-toned scar lays that never heals. These markings loose their glow overtime and go almost dull and dark when he grows increasingly low on vitality/hungry.
Other traits that he has are long ears facing back under a pair of half curled dark brown/red scaled horns. Yasu's eyes are golden-orange with a feline like slit shaped pupils which are very sensitive to bright lights. He has two elongated fangs protruding from under his upper lips hanging down by the sides of his jaw, spikes running from the beginning of his forehead down to his lower back and two massive feathered wings with an unusual span of almost twice the size of a regular ancient's wing span, large enough to be heavy and sometimes dragged on the ground as he walks.
Dragonoid Form:
He remains the same size as his Feral Form, however, he has no wings and adopts a more humanoid stance. His head remains the same but his body stands on two instead of all fours and his torso turns to a more humanoid shape.
Humanoid Form:
Yasu's preferred stance where his humanoid form is of a size of a regular human of 6'3'' where he can pick wether he wants to keep his draconic tail, legs, claws and horns but often opts to only keep his horns. His eyes remain draconic in nature thorough any form.
He has half-short black straight hair that hangs into his face usually covering one of his eyes in the process with a very athletic body sculpture. The red markings remain as tattoos on his body.
Personal Objects:
He has a pair of goggles with dark tinted glasses that were worn by his mother and were passed down to him during his hatchlinghood which he repairs and keeps in use. Yasu uses as protection a fox like mask that he designed and tinkered himself for protection to his senses when he is outside. It mostly limits the brightness that can affect his vision but the mask also covers his face which he is a bit insecure about, but when he isn't using it, he still uses a mask to hide his nose and mouth for the same reasons of insecurity.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes: Fish, and lots of them. Hoarding gems and making jewelery and gadgets are his favourite hobbies.
Dislikes: Crowded places (insecure of himself) or any place with more than 2 people in it, loud or excessive noise (his ears are very sound sensitive), warm places, gnomes due to his recent past trauma.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: Brutal physical body strength, quick body heal and regeneration, immune to almost any physical impact, high mobility and swiftness which he all uses combined to turn his raw body into a weapon being able to hit with no magic or weapons needed, nor shields or armor to slow him down.
Weaknesses: Sensitive hearing and eyes, unable to do almost any magic aside of basic metamorphosis and making some of his belongings appear or dissapear at will. He also looses his consciousness when his vitality is low and/or gets hungry acting with a different personality than his usual self. Has a weak spot to the people he trusts.
Trivia[]
- Yasu's personality, story and some aspects were inspired from various sources such as a bit from Twilight (vampire aspects and appearance), the Matrix (the revival), Seven Deadly Sins (Meliodas personality wise) mainly.
- Yasu has a pet wolf called Toboe which has been the only living companion he had for years.
- Toboe has lived for 2 decades thanks to Yasu's toxins that make him extend his life, without turning him into a vampire.
- Yasu's chest scar is from the past when his mother opened his chest to insert the toxin manualy into his heart to revive him at the point of death.
- Yasu is unable to channel magic.
- He is very good at tinkering accesories, such as collars, bracelets and masks out of soft metal and jewels.
- Yasu can't process regular food or meat right, to the point of sometimes throwing it up. He can go multiple days to weeks without feeding.
- Yasu has a very open minded attitude with others, he likes to joke around and be funny, despite of his generally cold attitude towards new people.
- He owns a pair of cotton buds to stick into his ears when he doesn't want to listen to people.
- He may look like a dumb brute but he is a brilliant bookworm.
